Recipe of the month 

Spiced Cranberry-Roselle Sauce


November brings us an opportunity for us to be thankful for the past 12 months. It’s also time to share a  meal with family and this take on the traditional version will take your holiday dinner up a  notch!

INGREDIENTS

  • 1/2 cup Oja roselle tea leaves

  • 3 whole cloves

  • 2 whole cardamom pods

  • 2 cinnamon sticks

  • 1 cup freshly squeezed orange juice

  • 1 cup filtered water

  • 3/4 cup sugar

  • 3 cups fresh or frozen cranberries

  • zest of 1 organic orange


DIRECTIONS

  • Bring orange juice, water, and sugar to a boil.

  • Add spices and boil for 5 minutes.

  • Add cranberries and orange zest, cover, and cook 8 minutes.

  • Remove from heat and remove spices from pot.

  • Stir sauce until you achieve desired consistency.

  • Serve!
