Recipe of the month
Spiced Cranberry-Roselle Sauce
November brings us an opportunity for us to be thankful for the past 12 months. It’s also time to share a meal with family and this take on the traditional version will take your holiday dinner up a notch!
INGREDIENTS
1/2 cup Oja roselle tea leaves
3 whole cloves
2 whole cardamom pods
2 cinnamon sticks
1 cup freshly squeezed orange juice
1 cup filtered water
3/4 cup sugar
3 cups fresh or frozen cranberries
zest of 1 organic orange
DIRECTIONS
Bring orange juice, water, and sugar to a boil.
Add spices and boil for 5 minutes.
Add cranberries and orange zest, cover, and cook 8 minutes.
Remove from heat and remove spices from pot.
Stir sauce until you achieve desired consistency.
Serve!
